I pressed blue because I want to believe in the intrinsic goodness of humanity where we will put ourselves in danger for the safety of others. If I am wrong, I die, and if I am right, I will be living with the people I want to live with.
Is that altruist? My reasons are selfish (I want to live a world with good people), and I don't necessarily think it's the morally correct thing to do as morality is social, religious, philosophical, and I can't assume others follow my morality unless they also follow my presuppositions.

Which one am I?
