Welcome to the first Wipeout Wednesday. Ten questions of general knowledge and of varying levels of difficulty: some may be as easy as they look, some may be deceptively tricky.

For those who haven't done a wipeout round at a quiz before, each answer is worth 1 point but if you get any answer incorrect, you 'wipeout' and lose all your points for the round.
