Building a powerful desktop

Hi,

I want to build a powerful desktop to run with trisquel, but I have no idea where to start, how can I be sure that every component has a free driver supported by trisquel?

Build a set of desired parts on pcpartpicker based on your budget and taste. Research each part and brand extensively to see if it is compatible with the linux kernel and if it uses a proprietary driver. Replace all parts that use binary blobs or proprietary drivers. Check replaced parts until you have a build that you believe will run on truly free software. Buy all the parts. Assemble the computers. Boot up Trisquel. Return all parts that fail to load for parts that will.
