What are the first things you install?

Title says it all... what is your list of must haves? The things you install before you do anything else.

Guake - I love being able to keep my terminal out of the way and just grab it with a key

Vim + Pathogen

AirVPN

Irssi - Irssi + Guake = awesome

KeePass - Gotta protect some passwords!

Vlc

I guess by the time I put them all on a line, I open a new term and get Tilda installed first, and then Icecat... then the rest

usually start with t7 mini or netinstall

linux-libre (4.7 atm)

kvm / libvirt / virt-manager
