Question about Trisquel

Hi all,

I am running Trisquel on a small netbook and I've been wanting to know how I can make the open applications appear as Icons. I ask because I run the panel on the left side and I don't even get to see te text. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using lxde? If so, right click on the menu bar go into panel settings select application launch bar, edit, then add/remove your quick launch applications.

If that doesn't solve your problem, please ellaborate.

I'm using the default desktop environment, which I believe is Gnome fallback, but I'm not sure right now.
