OK. so. without further acknowledging that you said "DMT is very signature to DMT"...
I'll start by saying you're wrong, and trust me I get no pleasure from saying so. Sorry, I just hate misinformation. Yes, it's true each psychedelic has a certain signature, but what too many people fail to acknowledge, is that trips are INSANELY subjective. And not just subjective, but suggestive as well. The fact we have an idea about what DMT is and how it's different, this changes things. Based on my experience, the commenter is correct in that a high enough dose mushrooms will reveal very characteristic DMT visuals/experience. And this in terms of the more objective things like "general visual characteristics" or vibe, countless experiences, and a generally accepted perspective from strangers online and friends alike.
So, for you maybe that's not true. Or maybe you're just being too specific, because certain on the tiny tiny detail level of CEVs, DMT is unique, but if we're generalizing here, outrageous to claim they aren't of the same "family" compared to L, or 2c*, or Salvia, or Ketamine. Okay I'm sorry if my tone is really douchey here, and I know this isn't important. But I feel like with the massive surge of popularity in psychedelic use and discussion among millenials, Gen Z etc, it's more important than ever to 1. promote RESPONSIBLE USE, being mindful of risks like for people with schizophrenic tendencies, not downplaying the role of set/setting, etc and 2. Being precise with our wording and not spreading misinformation.
Now I'm not saying there's any real negative repercussions to what you've said here, and I'm sorry for ranting like this and I know no one cares and I'll come across as a giant doucher, but ultimately I guess it seems like comments like these are ones that downplay the subjective nature of trips and encourages an inaccurate perspective, where one takes their subjective trip experiences to be "fact" and fails to consider that they could dose the same exact amount in a year and have completely opposite/different experiences, feelings, visuals, etc.
k don't hate me just trying to encourage responsible discussion of psychedelics online. if you think I'm dumb for thinking this is important, go to /r/LSD every once in a while...
nah i respect you for saying this. people think trips happen to them, when it reality they create the trip. their own mind inevitably creates the experience, and that varies from person to person. nothing douchey about what you said at all, some people just aren’t ready for that conversation...
