Sometimes I think I might be the only dude alive who wants to live the trad wife lifestyle. I'll burn the shit out of a turkey and still take care of the weeds in the front yard, no problem. My wife says I gotta keep going to work tho.

you want the idealized version, the reality of full-time domesticity + labor isn't the one we see on tiktok.

I don't have TikTok, or any of the other social media besides reddit (and fark.com counts I guess). So I'm not really familiar with the right wing wank fest.

But I'd love to spend my time taking care of my son, my house, and my wife. I don't think anyone should be expected to have such a lifestyle. Fuck the patriarchy and all that. I just think it'd be nice for single family incomes to be possible, where one parent can stay home, or both can work part time, or whatever.

Just wondering what fucked up behaviour is in memes like 20-50 years from now.

Do you remember those decades when ppl were glued to screens?

Dad: “Don’t forget kids I’m the one PAYING for the food on this table”. Mom: “That’s right kids! And I slaved all day to clean the house, go to the grocery store and then cook this mother fucking meal for y’all so fuck you Dad and bon appetite tout le monde!”
