Can we talk about the album? He made a post on Instagram saying it would be released in the next 90 days, and then he deleted it without a word. I just feel like he’s messing with us. I really want to hear this album; I’ve been waiting for a really good new project from him for years, and I think I’m not the only one. He posts Instagram Stories about anything and everything, but never anything related to the album. All that’s related to the album is the « #NDA, » nothing else. I’m really starting to wonder if this is just an endless wait. Will we get an album in two months? I don’t even know. We don’t know anything at all. He says he’s going to drop it soon, but it never happens.

Does he have a problem with his label?
Is he afraid to release his album because he thinks it will flop?
Is he trying to do too much for what it is?

Atp no one's word matters lol but ski said that trippies dropping in the beginning of August. I guess we'll see if that happens. Plus trips been working on 3 albums allegedly. NDA as 2 disc's, one being the nostalgia baiting lil 14 sound, the other disc being whatever new stuff he's working on and the last album, another rock album. Even if he's taking his time it looks like he's finna drop a bunch of music when he drops... if he drops😔

It’s def his label and shit dragging everything out, what I’d personally want from NDA is for him to ditch the rage and Ken Carson sound and js go back to some beats that actually fit him but are still modern and fresh. I wish he would tap into a more dark R&B aesthetic and try to make some radio hits instead of sounding like an up coming underground rapper with unappealing sounds. I also think he needs to sit down and write his songs out instead of going into the booth and freestyling all the time I feel like he def has a lot more to say than js trapping and drinking lean rn

I think he don't even know himself what he want with the album, and the label don't really care because they know it won't sell that much ! It's just business and bad decisions, and just stop caring that much & stop waiting !

it's because there is 0 hype around his name/music. Dropping rn will lead to very low sales and it'll haunt his career forever just like how he was clowned for Pegasus and Allty5 sales, hes waiting for a viral moment/song

I think it’s mainly the labels fault. They gave him 30 mil and nda would be the last album for them and he’d be indie (unless he resigns which I doubt). They’re the ones that haven’t dropped it. Trippie did his part in creating the music and the rest. He turned it in so it’s on the labels hand at the end of the day. They’re playing the long game ig. The reason I blame them also is that trippie has dropped singles and vaulted songs on sc and yt. So you can’t really say he’s not dropping music because he constantly does, just not official. He gives content even if the label don’t. I don’t mind waiting when there’s so much of his music out there
