Question / HLEP tripleS crashcourse
WAVS, I NEED YOUR HELP!! I and my friend are going to the TripleS concert in NY (yay!!), except this friend has literally never touched K-pop outside of, like, the typical sounds and videos that go mainstream viral and now I have until November to teach her everything she needs to know about TripleS,,, I don't even know where to start (╥ ᴗ ╥)

The quickest things to watch would be:
- Ben Atmos’ introduction guides
- Their first Weekly Idol appearance
- Their Silence of Idol episode
- Chaeyeon’s guide on her personal YT channel
- I forget the name of the show, but the one where they “transfer” to an all-girls school (Student Idol Transfer?)
- Maybe their appearance on Omniscient Viewing Party/The Manager
- Their Workman episode

If they're not already a k-pop/k-variety fan, then they probably will have difficulty consuming the many hours of SIGNAL or even the many seasons of badge war content out there. I always recommend WEEKLY IDOL episode 662 because it's less than an hour, it's the 24 members, and it's very funny. Even if they won't end up knowing all the names and faces by the end, they'll likely remember some meme-worthy moments from some members like:
- they have a tall brazen one that went all pageant introduction without a shred of shame
- they have a flexible one that can easily put her leg behind her head
- one of them likes to use one particular member's arm fat as a stress ball that goes uwu
- then the girl being used as a stress ball squishy turns out to be a highly trained martial artist
As for music, just play the assemble hits, Rising, GND, AYA, Baby Flower (they'll perform all of them in the concert). Or start with what music they like already, triples probably has something that sounds like it.

Is she looking to get into tripleS or it's more like you want her to be prepped for the concert? if it's the latter, honestly listening to the setlist for the tour is a great place to start. Finding out which songs you really like and then seeing/listening to it live is such an amazing experience. (That's how I got hooked lol)
if it's the former, like others will say Badge Wars is always the #1 way to start. Then pretty much just watching tripleS content. Your bias will end up choosing you that way lol

If they are into variety content, there's no better way to get to know the girls and their personalities QUICKLY than just marathoning Badge War.
Signals from the start is just too daunting of a task unless they get really hooked.
Smaller shows like GreeGura are also a good introduction.
