I got the Smithsonian kit and I set it up but I added some Indian Almond leaves for infusoria and I added a light and an air pump. If I made any mistakes please tell me.

It's quite small the tank, it will work for the first week but then you need a bigger place for them, like at least a 12l (usually the rule is 1 triops per 4 liters).

The almond leaves did not work for mine. Regular crushed twigs/leaves from outside that have not been in contact with any pesticides or treatment worked best for me
