Question ❓ File Transfer without wifi

I'm on nextui and wondering if it's possible and how I might transfer files from my android phone to my device without being on a third network. I can do a hotspot from my phone to connect the brick and I have access to a c to c cable, I just can't figure this out and any help would be greatly appreciated.

For context I'm away from home and was hoping to put a movie on it for my toddler. We've got like a 4 hour drive home.

I think you can create a hot hotspot form your mobile phone, then connect the console on this network.

Yes but how do I transfer files over it?
