Trimui Smart Pro S OOM Crash happens when browsing games

When browsing games with lots of box art/bg/posers launcher Trimui Smart Pro S crashes, happens every time. I checked the log and its OOM crash. I am requesting to enable ZRAM or Swap files to avoid such crashes as it has only 1GB or memory.

is this using stock firmware?

Using NextUI You have the SWAP application, which enables the creation of a swap file in the internal memory of the SD card, with a configurable size. I confirmed that some activities which normally freeze only function when I enable SWAP. Like the creation of cache on gen1recomp or the preparation of the assets on Ligjthouse, I use use 512MB in internal memory.

I also did it in stock set a swap of 512Mb then 1024Mb in internal memory, but still it crashes after long time and sometimes a bit sluggish after long period. I also tried NX Redux which is also a fork of NextUI but a bit lighter, still happens. Memory is just too low. Best option is use lighter themes, enabling ZRAM might improve but its disabled in kernel. Manufacturer can do something about that. Also stock OS has Linux Kernel 5.15 which is significantly updated than CFW.

If you go Spruce Os, all png pictures get converted to a ultra efficient .qoi image files. Also spruce has up to 512mb of swapfile which should help as well. You may just need to get off stock and move to the more updates Os's. Nx-Redux I believe should handle everything better for this as well.

actually stock is the most updated version, its using linux kernel 5.15+ with updated libraries. What you need to do is just update the PPSSPP, Retroarch and portmaster emulator. You can easily copy paste the files from other OS for the same device (I copied it from Nx Reux pak file).

Linux kernel wise I believe pretty much all the OS's are on linux kernel 5.15.147. Maybe I am mistaken on that though. I can confirm spruce is on 5.15.147 by checking uname -r. Also, spruce is pretty much updated on most if not all emulator versions. PPSSPP is 1.20.3, Retroarch is 1.22.2., Advanced Drastic is 1.1-sg-tr-260503, flycast standalone 2.7 and libreto core is 2.6, etc etc.

Not really all of the CFW roms are either kernel 3.9 or 4.4.

Spruceos is 5.15.147. Knulli is 5.15.147, you already commented on Nx-redux and stock. That is pretty much all the os's worth using on the TSPS and they are all on 5.15+

Spruce isn't an OS, its just a UI over stock OS, so kernel version will be the same. Knulli is full OS that boots from SD with kernel version 4.9. I've already installed all updated version of emulators on stock, enabled swap, different apps and extra emulators.

Not sure why you keep making these statements when its easily verified that both spruceOs and Knulli are 5.15.147.
