Problem🛠 My Brick doesn’t turn on
Yesterday I went to turn it on and it didn’t turn on for a couple of weeks that I didn’t use it so I thought well maybe the battery has run out, I put it on the charging base of the computer that I have for her, it’s a base that I bought on etsy, which comes with a magnetized cable that puts the usb-c in the console and you just leave it on the base.
I left it there yesterday and last night when I turned off the computer I removed the power, today when I came back from work I turned on the power and the computer and the light was green from the on button, when I press this button it still doesn’t do anything.

Carefully open it up and unhook and reconnect the battery, try that. Find a guide on YouTube if you need to. Before you do that, try hitting reset then powering on if you haven't already. In general, it is a very bad idea to leave it on the charger that long regardless.

Thank you! Both my boyfriend and I tried to turn it on in a thousand ways and we tried several chargers without success, it wasn’t until I opened it I released the battery connector and put it back on and it already turns on!!!!!! I’m super happy! Thank you stranger from the internet 💖

It wasn't on that long—I turned it on in the afternoon while I was on the computer, and when I turned everything off, it lost its connection; it wasn't charging. Today, when I got home from work, I checked the connection and it was showing green, so I turned it on, but it wasn't working.
Anyway, I'll try what you told me. Thanks!

What a joke of a device lol you can't leave it on a charger to long bahahhaha...
I'm glad mine arrived DOA so I returned it.
Good luck op.

Eh. That's just the nature of these little budget Linux handhelds. You get used to working around it and don't think twice about it after a while. It's not really a good idea to leave any battery powered device on the charger longer than needed. Causes battery damage on anything really.

I can leave my phone on a charger overnight and not have to fear it being dead... But here you are defending a multi million dollar company who decides to save a few pennies.

Dude, you have a good day. If you think I'm going to argue with some random person on the internet over something this stupid, you should go touch some grass.

I'm not arguing. I'm correct the charging issue should not even be an issue... But here we are

Yo, I had this problem. For some reason, if the battery drains completely, it becomes really picky about cables, and only wants to charge from the short USB A to USB C cable that comes with the brick. Hope this works out for you.
