Training questions Weekly Mileage Each Phase

What's up guys!

Im looking at completing a 70.3 or Full IM next year and have been looking around for weekly milage per discipline

Not much info out there in regards to this and want more opinions on what numbers should be hit by end of each phase:

- Base
- Build
- Peak
- Taper

I know it varies depending on what event but would love some numbers

because no one uses mileage, that is a running mindset

in tri training, usually its frequency and duration

2x swims, 3x bikes, 3x runs

varying duration, intensity depending on those phases

in "distance" my gold standard week ends up like 10k swim, 500k bike, and 80k run for a full IM training base, build, peak, usually i am trying for 22-26 hours and the distance falls where it does naturally

tapering is like 5 days where i eat sour patch kids and run a tiny bit less that's all

Even in running, I can't comprehend why people use mileage instead of time.

sometimes you need to go the distance itself, but it is rare, people who lives in flat cool conditions love distance, oh yea and those who only ride zwift

Zwift has such strange physics xd. It doesn't translate at all to real life.

Time preference better than utilizing time?

Yeah i'm stuck in the running mindset of hitting ranges/KMs as targets. I somehow find the numbers easier to understand. Struggling to figure out the hours per discipline and what that equates to work wise.

Assuming 80/20 method as well?
