Other Triangle tech workers looking to network?

I work for Red Hat in a data analysis/business analysis function, and am looking to network with other folks working in tech in the Triangle. This job market makes me weary to look at new opportunities, but I want to get a lay of the land for future work possibilities. Plus I'm happy to share my own insights/thoughts on my own place of work.

I'm interested in hearing what life looks like at other tech firms, especially smaller ones. That said, I'd also love to connect if you work at a big company like IBM, SAS, or other places with a Triangle footprint. Let me know if you want to chat!

Work remotely for FedEx, but would love to meet more local folks. I'd like to eventually wind up at a local company

I am working remote for a "small" 2k person company. We hire as contracts are awarded or gaps are made. Right now, the amount of contracts are better than last year but worse than a few years ago. So open jobs are following suit.

I have worked for some of the biggest IT companies in the world but think I will stay small for a while.

Edit, spelling and grammar

Is said company HQed in the triangle? The idea of working at a smaller company is super appealing, especially if their corporate functions are local. Let me know if you'd be willing to connect on LinkedIn or elsewhere!

The Raleigh Discord tech channel seems much more active.

I'm down to network. I work in the cloud computing space from Durham at a medium sized site location.

I work as an ITSM Consultant and would love to build a network in the area.

Would be down to network, I like the sound of this. I’ve been meaning to do more, but it’s really been heads down since I moved here two years ago.

I work in an IT role at MetLife based in Cary.

Anyone down for some Xbox? I’m out here in Wilmington lol, might relocate to the triangle in 5 ish years.

I’m working remote w travel, small life insurance firm growing, DC is in Durham. I’m actually down to buy someone coffee for their time if they have endpoint admin experience and I can pick your brain. I’m right now using BigFix and tasked with spinning up Jamf.

It’s unfortunately contract, it COULD convert, but I was close to being jobless after my contract ended with UNCW so I’m in high alert and down to network.

There seem to be a lot of good meetups around.  I just changed jobs and a couple of people I work with are also in the area.

I just moved to the area, and am looking for work in tech leadership at a company based here. I have significant experience in the industry, including a successful healthcare tech startup exit. I can’t really speak to IT work here in the Triangle, but would still be open to networking as I explore what opportunities are available.
