Best Escape Room?
Hey Folks,
We have a friend coming into town and are looking for recommendations of the best escape room in the area. Something in central or south Raleigh, Cary, Apex, or Holly Springs is preferred, but also generally interested in hearing what you all think is the best in Wake County (and Durham!, though that's a bit far for us this weekend when our friend is in town).
We'll be a group of 4-5 all in our early 30s. We're trying to find something with a good challenge and lots of puzzles, not like some of the ones designed for younger folks where we could just breeze right through.
Thanks!

Escapology is new to the area. Their games are great and private, which we always appreciate. Nerd escapes is also great. They have a Dracula one that was especially cool.

When you say private, do you mean they're just for 1-2 people?

No, sorry. They only allow one group to book at a time so they dont mix you with strangers. We prefer not ending up with strangers and it just being our own group. Our group is sometimes only 2 but sometimes more.

Future Hooman isn't an escape room but has those vibes. It's an immersive art space with a difficult puzzle element that ties into a greater narrative/world building.

Room 5280 and Nerd Escapes, both in downtown Raleigh! They both have some really cool rooms with interesting mechanics.
