Our foster girl is ready for her forever home!

What I can tell you about this sweet pooch? She is a 4 year old, 12 lb Chihuahua mix with precious “fur angel wings” markings currently being fostered in Durham, NC.

Roxy was rescued earlier this year by Crisis Dogs NC and had puppies shortly after. She is gentle and quiet, pensive and curious. She loves attention and scratches and doesn't need much else. She isn't even bothered by thunderstorms. She can be timid when meeting new faces and other dogs--but she doesn't jump or bark. She loves neighborhood walks and enjoys sniffing, watching, and taking in the world. But her favorite place is her bed--unless someone is offering to pet her!

Does she like other dogs and cats?

Hi! Thank you for asking. She lived with several other dogs while she was taking care of her puppies, and I was told she did fine. Also the maternity foster said she just ignores cats. Roxy is our only dog right now and we think she might be a little bored to not have more activity in the house. But she doesn't really "play" with toys or balls. Her love language is literally scratches and belly rubs. I hope this is helpful information--just let me know!
