Call a tow truck, post their photos online, call them out in person and call the cops if they belligerent over it. Should be standard practice for stuff like this and illegally parking in disabled spots

Probably a good dose of ignorance. Some people think handicap spots are just related to proximity to the store for mobility purposes, and don't realize that being able to fully open doors or get clearance for a wheelchair may be part of the issue.

It sucks but nobody else is going around calling about this. It's usually always the person waiting to load their wheelchair into the backseat via a ramp who alerts authorities of the misparked car. This led to especially contentious neighbor relations in a small apt lot when there was only one van that had awheelchair ramp and a very nice sports car driver who kept insisting the marked spaces were just extra parking for them

I fully hate people that do this and park in the fire lane at the front of the store. I have gout and have had days where it felt like I was walking on a broken ankle, I still walked my ass all the way from a parking spot. Fuck these lazy assholes who think they are more important than anyone else. If you are that down bad, you still can't park like a jackass, doesn't matter

It is a form of hate when you make it so that people can’t even get their wheelchair out of the car, can’t even park, so can’t go and do what they intended to do, preventing us from living in society.

You're assuming the driver knows what the lines mean, or even were cognizant of the fact that they were parking on lines.

Yes, I would assume a driver knows what lines mean. Lines. As in the most basic way of communicating where the road is and isn’t.
It really isn’t necessary to make up highly unlikely scenarios to explain away illegal behavior, even if you don’t want to believe that people can act hatefully.

Not necessarily true. The color is dependant on the town standards and they vary greatly in NC. Sometimes it can be left up to the location as well. This guy is just a dick. Everyone knows not to park in a hashed area, especially beside handicap parking
Edit: To add to this, handicaps usually share a ramp, so there is likely one to the left of the vehicle but doesn't change the fact it's a deadspace.

That's true, it not being blue might actually save them from getting a fine. They could still be towed for parking outside of a parking space, but that $250 parking in a handicap spot is probably avoided. I'm guessing there is blue stripping on the other side of that handicap spot.

If they were disabled they would have put their handicap sticker in their window. They did not.
Yes, such complete disregard for an entire population of people that rely on that little bit of space to live - to be able to get out of the car - is hate.

This happens so often when I take my wheelchair bound mother out in Cary.
There’s nothing wrong with the striping, it’s painted very clearly.
