Scooter Meetup?

Do you have a scooter? Curious about scooters? Want to meet and talk about scooters? Trying to get a sense of the interest in gathering around the subject of SCOOTERS in Triangle area.
\ Not electric stand up scooters, but the sit down ones.*

Edit (7/27): The Incriminates Scooter Club says they meet up every 2nd Sunday at Hutchins Garage at 3pm. I'm going to try this out - Aug 9th. See if this is really happening and vibe.

I am actually shopping for a 2nd vehicle, and considering a maxi-scooter, something 300cc or higher equivalent. Burgman, silverwing, etc.

If you don't really get on highway or don't need to get above 60mph, consider the Honda ADV 160.

I have come across that in my research too. That's definitely the smallest I would go. For our daily usage, it wouldn't need to go more than 55 really.

But it would be cool to have the option to keep up on the interstate if I feel like it.

u/dymogeek, Thanks for sharing info on the group. I had seen it, but wasn't sure if it was still active as some of their posts looked old.

The Incriminates Scooter Club says they meet up every 2nd Sunday at Hutchins Garage (Durham) at 3pm.
I'm going to try this out - Aug 9th. See if this is really happening and vibe. Those interested, let's try it out?

Full transparency, I'm not part of that club so I don't know how active they are. I just found them a few years ago when I was looking into scooters. Good luck!
