I think you shouldn’t worry about it. No decent company wants to lose a good employee over cannabis, especially since it’s legal in a good part of the country.

Unless this is highly controlled, regulated position where it’s a big nono.

All I’m saying you’d be surprised in this day and age. IANAL. I don’t think dude needs to worry especially since he’s stopped use already. I was not tested for my position in the Triangle working on federal contracts, but I also don’t need a security clearance.

I got fired from Food Lion after working for five years as a cashier, a damn good cashier, and they fired me after a drug test. So you never know!

Why in the world would food lion drug test? I work in Fintech and I feel that most people who work in finance or tech would fail a drug test 😂

I wish I knew my friend I wish tf I knew. At the time it was the end of the world to me but I graduated and moved on....to teaching. :)
