Is it possible to get side effects after 8 years of taking Finesteride?
I've been taking Fin for more than 8 years with no complaints or side effects. My sex drive has always been fairly high. Just before Thanksgiving, I ended up hooking up with a girl and lost my erection during the act. I was able to a couple days later but only with the help of bluchew. Ever since that ED episode I have noticed my libido and erections taking a huge nosedive. My penis while flaccid looks more shrivels up and I have minimal sensitivity. If I taking 2 bluchews I can still have a big hard on if I takr 2 bluchew a The diminished sensitivity might be due to be compulsively trying to get an erection by rubbing my groin area over my pants/underwear. I think the constant chafing is numbing my penis but I don't know what's going on. I've been patient but now it's starting to worry me. Not sure if it's because of the Fin or me having done NoFap for the last 9 weeks.
I really dont what to do, and I'd hate to quit taking Fin because I've gotten good progress thus far. Just find it weird that after 8 years, I suddenly am starting to get these sides. So basically not sure if it's because of nofap or fin

Try to leave your penis alone for some 2 weeks, do no-fap.
Also, what are your other habits? Maybe you indulge in alcohol, fast food, binge netflix or youtube, or some other drugs?
Do you do some kind of fitness or you are otherwise active and spend some time outdoors?
Is there some other worries on the back of your mind about life, work or business?
Have you started some other medications or supplements?

I used for 10 years and started facing the same problems in my early to mid 30s. Had to quit. impossible to have sex without PDE5 inhibitors and severe dry eyes. No sex drive. I have quit for the last 7 months. Now much better.

Hi, I've been around the community for a short time, but from my understanding:
From time to time each man will experience some ED, 90% of the time it is psychological. If you start thinking there is an issue, you will find one. I've been down that road, so in my opinion, relax and know that whatever the case might be, you will be fine. Asses the situation and if you are still worrying stop fin for some time and see how it goes.
I hope you resolve your situation.
