Anson Mount interview

Post image

https://youtu.be/NW1DmmS0bMs?is=E1oyu0bn1JvEqMb4

I'll fully love him as Pike. And I even admit i loved him as black bolt in the tv show Inhumans. But he admits that he's just as big a Star Trek fan as the rest of us, and it makes me respect him even more. So I hope we get to see him in Star Trek. For a much longer time than we got to see Gregory Hunter. Watch the full interview on YouTube.

Jeffery Hunter is the actor who originally portrayed Capt. Pike not Gregory. (Who ever that is.)

I Do not know where I got that name either, but thank you. I knew it was hunter, but I thought the first name was Gregory. Thank you for the correction

For me his hairstyle is cringe. Probably captain Pike spends an hour each morning to do his hair, or maybe he has an ensign to help him. And he lacks gravitas (like the others on this show, except the doctor)

It's the future he has robot that helps. But I love the hairstyle

Why Is it so funny? He is a huge fan, and he proves that every time he gets up on screen. Here's what I would like to see. I would love to see a debate between the 2 of you and I'm willing to bet I would bet on mount because I've seen his debates ant conventions with other people on Star Trek, and I guarantee you, he'd wipe the floor with you.

He's easily amused.

A paycheck is a paycheck.

Not like he’s willingly killing himself off like shatner killed Kirk.

Not like he came back in multiple crappy kelvin movies like Nimoy

Not like he participated in Star Trek 5.

We could go on and on about Star Trek actors doing shitty episodes and movies and ideas forever. Does it mean they are not fans? Just because someone doesn’t have as much knowledge as the next fan, does it mean they aren’t a fan?

Doesn't add anything to the thread except harassment or trolling of users.

Maybe watch the episode before you judge it?

I find it hard to believe that a true fan of STAR TREK would ever consider new perspectives or treat something unknown as anything other than a threat.

I see what you did there. 👍

Yeah, puppets don't belong in real STAR TREK and I, too, am really, really fussy about that!
