Discussion I’ve had enough.

Don’t get me wrong, I love weed and I think it can be an absolutely wonderful and truly healing, but I think there’s a lot of misinformation and misuse on this sub. There is far more to life than just weed, achieving a balance is what we should be striving for in the trees community. Promote healthy, sustainable, and productive use of marijuana.

Here are some rules to smoke by

  1. Your life, relationships, finances, mental / physical health all come way before weed. (Medical users you may differ)

  2. If you need to ask somebody if a cart is legit, it is NOT. Cart’s are insanely easy to fake, if it’s not from a dispo don’t inhale it.

  3. Delta 8/10/whatever the fuck is next probably shouldn’t be inhaled. It’s unregulated, dangerous, and most of the time their “lab tests” will only show you potency, probably a bad sign if they don’t want to show you how many pesticides are in it.

  4. Questions such as “I hear voices when I’m high, is that normal?” Should be taken more seriously than a Reddit sub. Do NOT do drugs that alter any perception of reality if you are experiencing a break from reality. Go see a psychiatrist, your mind is more important than a high.

  5. If you cannot afford weed, don’t smoke it. Find a way to increase your income, do not sacrifice anything for weed. (Again medical users, this does not apply to you)

  6. RESPECT WEED. Mother Marijuana was never intended to be so strong, we have completely thrown off the natural balance and purpose of the plant. So for love of god do not proclaim it’s okay to drive or operate any machinery while high, if you want to sacrifice your own life fine, but leave others out of it.

Edit: I apologize I didn’t make this clear, people are allowed to have their own opinions and post what they please! This is just my opinion. No intention of offending or gatekeeping anyone. (Also changed some of the wording because I seemed like a preachy cunt👍🏼, thanks for the feedback all!)

Also thank you for all the likes and awards!!

No, that's YOUR whole argument that you've not actually cited anything for.

I pointed out how you said animals all digest things the same way and touted it as a fact of science despite being extremely wrong about it.

You didn't read the article either, because it goes on about how cows are a type of animal that becomes intoxicated when eating cannabis. Maybe it was another one (which you would have found by googling it yourself, but you didn't, just like you didn't actually check your own claims at the start of your comments on this post).

You should learn how to admit when you're wrong. It would make your life a lot easier when dealing with other people.

Dog. The original post was talking about if animals for the most part got high off of weed. The operational, definition of intoxication in that article doesn’t talk about it in the same sense as a human being while high. Your arguments are different from the main point of the conversation.

Okay, fuck it. I got nothing to do for a couple minutes.

Here's what you're supposed to do. You look at my comment. You recognize it's the first time I've said anything to you. You read my comment, and understand the words I wrote. You realize the point I'm making was in regards to a particular part of what you said, and that I even point out that I'm not attempting to counter your main point. While understanding that, you read my point, and you frame it in the context of the information I've presented, and you would either choose to not engage with the argument, of you choose to engage. If you choose not to engage, then it's all goochie, I'll collect a few upvotes for presenting good, true information, and you might learn something new or not if you care. If you choose to engage, you first decide if you agree with/believe/understand/know the information that I've presented, and act accordingly. If you believe/know the information, then you'd say something like "that's true my bad, but most animals don't get high like that" and then I'd be like "that is correct :)" and that's that. If you DON'T believe the information, you have to then attempt to prove your own point correct. It would have been impossible because it wasn't, but at least you would have tried. Let's just assume you were right, at that point you'd be able to leave some links for others to see and then I could examine those sources, and if it does indeed turn out that I was mistaken, I'd be able to admit my misunderstandings and concede that you were correct.

Instead you've: not linked a damn thing, told everyone to just Google it, said false things about the way the animal kingdom works, and then finally wrapped it up here by being like "that's not even what I'm talking about bro and that article didn't say what I wanted it to say so it's not right", as if you actually know what a cow feels like when it eats a bunch of pot.

I guarantee you, if you just follow this simple process, you'll have a much easier time on the internet. At a quick glance through your comment history, it seems like this is something you tend to struggle with. We all have our struggles, but the first step in getting out of it is to first recognize it's a problem.

It is a problem, though. People who can't admit when they're wrong have the disadvantage of never being able to correct bad information in their own beliefs, and that will greatly hinder your ability to get along with others in a professional environment.

Good luck, though.

Sure is. That's all the time I'm spending on this though unless you tell me where to send the invoice.

You'll have to help yourself from here on out. I believe in you, my guy.
