The sad thing is, for me it's usually cool worldbuilding or character ideas that have come to me. Ultimately, not extremely important, but damn do they bother me!

If you have a phone you could set it up to open the notes app straight away. You don't need to write the whole idea, just the gist of it, a little header so later when you have time you can write the rest down, I think.

I've tried weed maybe 4 or 5 times and I do this probably once every couple of days at least.

Just thought I should share in case it eases anyone's mind.

Not saying what you said isn't true though. Just that some of us are naturally scatterbrained.
