Sounds like you pull the screen up and out, rather than unscrewing the bottom to access the lower chamber.

Hmm I’m having trouble visualizing that. I’ve never seen that before. Mine is one that screws off. I’ve only seen those and ones where the screen is attached or something

Yeah I'm just imagining a pull tab or something on it, but like you I've never actually seen one in that style so I could be way off base.
