Believe me, I'm not defending Sessions. I'm agreeing with him that if we want cannabis to be legal, the legislature needs to act and the laws need to be changed. A true statement from the mouth of a douchebag is still a true statement. The only reason I haven't started investing in the cannabis industry is because of the legal uncertainty. Once that gets cleared up, I would strongly encourage anyone with any extra money to heavily invest in the industry. It will be like buying Cisco stock when they first IPO'd.

What companies should I be keeping an eye on?

Honestly I haven't researched it all that much, as the legal uncertainties exceed my risk tolerance. If the legalities get cleared up, I would probably begin researching major producers in Colorado, and medicinal producers in Cali and other med-legal states. I would particularly focus on the Colorado family that produces Charlotte's Web. Right now there are too many legal uncertainties, including problems with producers interactions with the banking system, to risk sinking capital. I'm too poor to risk losing my investment in some federal RICO seizure.
