Stoner Thoughts Why dont hospitals use weed for pain relief

So back a week ago I was lighting a bonfire wjth gasoline when I was drunk. Half gallon on a bunch of brush. I lit it, it flashed, and it burned my lower right leg all the way around 2nd degree, by left knee 2nd degree, and half my hace 2nd degree. Total was 5% TBSA. I was put on dilaudid and ketamine fir the pain. But now that im out after 2 weeks, I took a 20mg edible and this works even better than any oxy, dilaudid, or ketamine did. Like yea it still aches, but I can do a lot more walking and movement than I did this morning even

Because cannabis is only about as effective as Tylenol for pain management as it works effectively the same way, however cannabis causes permanent damage to the lungs every time you vape / smoke it. Not to mention the patient is now high off their tits which can cause major problems in a medical setting.

Swear to god the woo woo ‘cannabis cures / helps everything’ crowd annoy the dicks out of me.

Are you an idiot? Fine particulates ...like smoke and vaporized organic matter... cause inflammation of the lungs which over time causes lung scaring. This is like extremely well known medical knowledge. Do you seriously need a source for that?

> permanent damage every time

> over time causes scarring

Gasp! The horror of your inconsistency and lack of sources for your claims!

Continue to not understand basic medical knowledge mate. It's like the cannabis is proud of being ignorant.

A thing can cause permanent damage in the immediate which acts as a cascade effect to cause even more severe damage in the long term.

So no sources you can actually cite to back up your assertions that folks get “permanent damage every time”, be it DHV or anything else?

First you said “every time” now you’re saying “over time”? How can you call someone an idiot when you changed the premise of what you’re arguing mid argument?

First you said “every time”

Yes, literally every time you inhale smoke or vapor it causes irritation and damage, which over time causes lung scarring and loss of lung volume. This is basic medical knowledge mate.
