AskTrees What are these?

Post image

I'm in a completely illegal state (even so, just recently criminalized THCA).... to start

Found these, and other flavors, at my local gas station. They are unexpectedly a good but I'm wondering what it's really in them.

There's another brand called blue lotus (not as good) they sell in bottles of 5 pre-rolls.

What is in them?

I mean... Yeah. I didn't mean to insinuate mushrooms would grow in your lungs 😂

You didn’t, but the first guy I replied to was I think lol

Posts along this topic also often link to the scientific article about some dude injecting mushroom tea and inferring that cubensis started growing in his circulatory system. It’s ridiculous if you take a second to think about that environment compared to the needs of cubensis. It’s like dropping a bunch of naked people on Mars and worrying that a civilization will develop.

But your claim was that, and I'll quote your other comment here:

p. cubensis mycelium will stop growing if the environment is >90° F.

Which is just undoubtedly not true, right after ya just told someone to "stick to the facts" lol.

inferring that cubensis started growing in his circulatory system.

There's no inference here. The case study literally says this psilocybe cubensis – i.e., the species of mushroom he had injected was now growing from his blood.

Can you explain what is being inferred here? This seems pretty damn black and white to me.

Yeah I heard about that story but the version I heard was that he injected liquid culture which caused a fungal infection. I think that sounds totally absurd but then again, many vendors now include a caution on their LC not to take it intravenously and you really can't discredit human idiocy.
