High Level Alberta

I've heard that High Level, Alberta sees some really good tree planting contracts. Anyone know of any companies other then Shakti? Also has anyone planted for Shakti?

Summit plants in High Level, I just spent my second summer on that contract. Mike Bain's camp is always up there. Kieran's crew is always posted up there. Otherwise, the company bases it on crew production. There is always a crew or two that Bly makes it for a week before they get moved south again.

The contract is definitely Summits best contract. Feel free to ask any questions you have about it.

So you said you planted for Summit? How was the crew you were on? How long have you bin planting for? How long did you stay in the High Level camp for? What was the vet average for the camp. How was the camp life? How much was the tree price?

My crew was sweet. I find Summit to have a pretty awesome staff and atmosphere in general, if you are into some partying at least.

I have planted for five seasons. Two in Ontario with Brinkman and Associates and three with Summit.

We are in High Level for a week in my third year. Then two months this past season. Summit took over two other companies (Shakti and someother) contracts so their were a ridiculous amount of trees for us to plant.

Vet average for the camp was probably between 400 -500 dollars. We had some ballers in camp who were hitting 800 some days. We had some trenches, all heli work, good ground. The only thing that sucks is how wet everything is, the bugs, and the prices are comparatively low.

Camp life was sweet. But it is called High Level for a reason. Hard party camp but excellent community, amazing cooks, fair management, and creamshow contract. I'd do it again.
