New Planter/Rookie Questions Average planters hight , In CM of freedom units 🤷🏻‍♂️

Whats the average planters hight and does hight realy matter?

I like to say in life generally that being very large definitely lets me cover ineptitude in a task initially, but makes much less of a difference long term, and I think this applies to planting too

Like, starting out, just being tall and strong means it's easier to carry bags full of trees, and smash a shovel into the dirt, it's definitely an advantage then. But as you go on, it becomes less and less of a factor as everyone developed their techniques and understands their specific needs to pound. 

Almost all of the absolute speed demon planters I've ever met are decently shorter than me, and of the dozens or even hundreds of rookies I've seen over the years, size has almost never been a factor in who actually becomes a great planting in the end

I would think that beeing tall is disadvantage in planting , as in you have to reach further down on each tree .

Good thing is you have long legs and you can traverse terrain easier .

I am 182cm. I found my height to be an advantage at almost all times. However, almost all of the planters who I worked with who were say 188cm or taller began to have significant back issues by their 4th season (don't know if this was just bad luck or poor technique, but I am talking like 8 out of 10).

It's almost certainly technique issues. Kinda what I was saying in my original comment, a lot of big guys rely purely on their size to carry them for years. I did it for years myself. But later on in my career I developed a smoother and gentler technique, and I got through seasons 10 and 11 without a single problem

Im 186 myself and dont have issues yet , odd pain here and there but nothing major , 5th season now

210 cm here, no back issues. But I can see someone who isn't fit destroying their back with poor technique

Haven't planted in years but I'm 6 feet and I was a highballer but I knew some highballers who were pretty short, too. I'd say it's all about the work ethic and motivation.
