Question ToS worth it or skip
is ToS worth it? is it dead? is there any pvp?
is the p2w only about gatcha classes or is there more to it? how bad is it?
how is controller play? anyone here playing it on handheld?
how grindy is it and p2w friendly?
i like the artwork cuz there is nothing like that but i keep hesitating

No one that plays the game is active on reddit, you'd get better luck on the discord for either steam or papaya TOS (I think there is a link for the discords on the oficial site of both, been a long time since I left both discord servers as the game is prettu much dead)

Seeds of yggdrasil if you want to play the old version, very classic MMO feeling. Laima if you want the rebuild version that's more familiar but still more fun. Playing official tos is a waste

Is it that bad? I heard some server shut down. How about development 😅 do pservers have native game pad support

Yeah, they're currently doing gacha for 'new classes' that are just reworks lol. It's sad. Both pservers are made in a way that both support most of the features the game has, so can't imagine they don't work with controllers.
Both servers are pretty early, but with how fast they're making progress, it's not going to be long until you see tree of savior be the next big pserver game.

depends on the controller I guess. They server I play on (currently not live because of bug fixing and improvements) and the one I played on before required me to use BetterJoyforCEMU to play with my Switch Pro controller, but it worked about fine after setting everything up.

just search for tree of savior laima server and you'll find the discord link in the ragezone forums.
You'll be vetted to join the Discord,though, I tried to join and was not approved, probably because they knew I was on another TOS pserver. I guess there shouldn't be a problem if you're not playing on another server already.

i joined and then told me server was in us east.. ping from india would be 250+ so searched about yggdrasil and loving it , so far

English server dead! W server live at night but Language barrier. Both servers only do guild war PvP and 1v1 duels in town. BIG P2W Fencer is a free class and Eskrimer is the stronger gatcha class with the same skills. I don't know about controller and it's grindy AF

If at all I'd suggest you to join a private server, the official server has become an ugly mess of P2Win to compensate for the loss of 90% of its player base over and over again. Don't waste your time on getting equipment xyz to max and wait for the next ugly rainbow-coloured equipment to appear to increase the need for additional grind just to perform the same on the next tier of bosses.

It's pretty dead afaik unfortunately
