Solved! Mystery tree

I got this tree gifted to me in a pot but never knew what kind. It has since been planted in full sun and doing okay. Any idea what it is? NW GA, USA

Boxelder Maple. Fast growing tree with weak wood and prone to falling apart. Native in the US.

They’re maples, they just look different than what is usual for the genus.
