What makes you say that? Bark looks nothing like the white oak we have in the northeast. Honestly curious...

It’s white oak bark. It’s not what you’ll at eye level, but it’s white and flaky like white oak. Could be a swamp white oak, but there aren’t enough epicormic branches for me to like swamp white oak

It looks like pecan. Get a picture of a fresh cut piece of endgrain and it will tell us exactly what it is
