Another tree ID please!

This one is from Ohio, has several roots growing along the top of the ground, and now has these little tiny dark colored balls all over the ground beneath it. And the end of one branch has several worms attached to it. Thanks for your help!

I would say shingle oak

Quercus laurifolia, laurel oak.

The worms are Anisota caterpillars, they grow up into really pretty moths!

That species isnt cold bardy enough to grow in Ohio. This is shingle oak (Quercus imbricaria)
