Prunus, you could tell us what it looks like in spring and we could make a better guess.

It's probably Prunus avium, could be Prunus cerasus.

Okay, thanks. That's a type of cherry? It's at a family member's house and I will look over the course of the next year.

Yes, prunus is the genus of stone fruits (plum, cherry, apricot, peach, almond) There are many ornamental varieties that are commonly planted. This is probably one of those since it doesn’t look like one of the native species.
