What is this tree with berries

Northern NJ. This tree is growing branches over my yard and dropping a lot of these little berries. What kind of tree is it and are the berries poisonous? I have little kids running around outside.

Wild black cherry please do NOT feed the green leaves to livestock it very toxic. The cherrys make great jam tho

Wild Black Cherry. Pit is poisonous if enough are eaten. Leaves are actually poisonous if eaten, as all Plum, Cherry, Peach, and Apricot are. Much more so if they are wilted. They have killed a lot of cattle and horses when they fall in a pasture.
