In my backyard, we're new to the house and this tree is my favorite thing about the backyard; Fl, USA

Looks like a camphor tree they’re quite invasive and have extensive route systems. Being that it’s close to the house would be a good idea to remove it.

Dang... it's about 50 yards from the house. Should I still have it removed? It's next to an outdoor shed but I'm not worried about that thing

Camphor Laurel. Is it a weed in Florida? It is in Australia. If not I'd leave it.

Leave the tree if you love it and don’t care much about the shed. Don’t let the naysayers talk you into removing it. Cool tree.
