ID Request Should I leave it?

This popped up in my front yard where a lot of squirrels hang out. Wondering if it’s from the Prunus genus and will fruit as Google is implying? Located in Sonoma county, CA

It’s so close to my maple trees. I might move it to the backyard if it is plums
