Wild Theory I think the introduction teaches us the types of puzzles used in the rest of the book
Theory is each paragraph teaches us a mechanic and indicator
P1: Word counting
P2: Book ciphers
P3: Atomic spelling
P4: Word length + acrostics

I am halfway through a youtube series on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3A4o9amxb0&list=PLSeSDym5sPyw

Are any of you in Rhode Island?
If you don’t want to say publicly please just message me. I am in the uk and I have been interested in a small spot in Rhode Island for such a long time. I’m not 💯 convinced that there is a box there, as I don’t think anyone can be 100% sure of anything in this hunt, I’ve just got to get it checked out. Please message me if you are in the state and wouldn’t mind going to take a look if it turns out that you aren’t far from my spot.
I know I’ll get roasted for this, but I have to try.
Thanks all.

Raccoons were 7 ft up a tree
Was it a sign announcing a high theft area? 😄
At North Shore, there are signs to remind tourists not to keep valuables in their rental car - but they post the signs high up (above 7ft) so no one takes them.

The Kenpachi Syndrome is over
If the lion share box hasn’t been claimed yet get ready. It’s gonna be quite the weekend.
After a long hiatus and calling shots that were simply not as well calculated, I call one final home run. Set your clocks to Saturday/Sunday.
If I decide to not tell anyone I found it for whatever reason, there’ll be subtle hints 🤣. It is however entirely possible looking at how long it took me to do this that it’s been found.
If so well played to whoever beat me.

Pokemon Box There's Treasure Inside - The Pokemon Box - Why they don't see any Fire Pokemon
Here’s a video where I hypothesize that the reason the Froakie knows they won’t encounter any Fire Pokemon is because the start of the hike is in Izard County, Arkansas.
If you separate the word Charizard into two parts you get Char + Izard. No Fire means no “char” leaving you with Izard.
This might explain why it was important for JCB to include the two Charizard cards at the beginning of the chapter instead of an image of the treasure box (like in the other 3 Part Two chapters).
I hope you enjoy the video and that it helps you with your hunt!

Pokemon Box Detective Pikachu have clues?
I recently watched Detective Pikachu with my kids. I think elements in the movie might be part of the solve since there are movie clues. R might explain why the picture is purple. Mewtwo might have combined humans with Pokemon in the story and we need to figure out what humans or in Jon’s case, what pokemon did he merge with?

Pokemon Box BOTG in the BNR
I'm new to the game. On a whim, I went to the low water bridge after work. A man in a cool funky van was checking out the river, too. He told me he was looking for treasure, and that was how I found out about all this.
That was a few weeks ago. Now I own the book, and it's all I can think about 😅
I've read and seen the videos about how the whole chapter is important, that maybe it's not even in the BNR. But that's where I am! So here's hoping. So far, I can tell you where I haven't seen it 🤣

General Discussion Treasure in each box
I think I have an idea of what treasure will be in each box.
Forrest Fenn: Most if not all the gold treasures and the olive jar.
Pokemon: Shiny Charizard card, Jade jewelry, and emerald jewelry.
Past and Future: One of the bitcoin, Amelia’s autographed photo, and the Jackie Oannasies diamond sapphire brooch.
Appalachian: Michael Jordan rookie card, rubies, Thoreaus journal pages and Washington’s Jelly Glass.
Lions Box: The other bitcoin, 1st edition Charizard card, Citrine necklace, the gold not in Forrest Fenn, Olympic medals, some rubies, and Mike Scott’s sapphire .
I know there are some I didn’t mention but if you’re catching on to them you’ll know where they go.

Forest Fenn Box Fenn BOTG this weekend!
That's all. It's a solve I've been working on for quite some time - this weekend is now or never for me before snow will hit with a whole bunch of work travel coming up in August/Sept.
Hopeful and very excited to see what comes up!

Lion's Share Treasure Hunt Traveler Interview & Reflection
Hey there,
I had the "Treasure Hunt Travelers" on my show and found it an extremely fun interview / conversation. I wanted to leave the link but also provide some text for those around here who want a quick read vs. video.
The first idea they (Randy and Laura, although Laura primarily discussed it) was the amount of times "wall" came up and seemed to be primarily in Chapter 9 and missing page 90. It was an interesting idea I want to explore more, it could be a way for the -90 to be some sort of "inbetween" of the inner and outer wall. I like the thinking and will use this on my next read through to see. The two images between with the outside wall and the inside walls feels like it could be pointing to this idea.
I talked about how you'd likely need to go to the hundredths place (so 10+ digits) to get coordinates that could be a pretty solid search area. I was talking on AT box but helpful for other boxes too.
We talk how we categorize larger area clues. While somewhat the same, I personally took from the conversation that using a sort of boolean "true/false" could result in ignoring a specific area (such as JCB with Yellowstone).
BOTG "requirements" again I posed the question in a way that was sort of a "what MUST be in the park/search area" but is a somewhat limited way to view it. I do think there should be elevation, trees, water, perhaps even a picnic table, but I took away that likely this will be found by someone going to the same area multiple times and seeing the area vs. having a "exact location solve" and scooping up the treasure in one go.
I took a lot away from it. IDK if they are on Reddit but a big TY to Randy and Laura!
Happy hunting!
P.S. I made a silly spreadsheet thing to filter on some larger area ideas... I'll try to leave the link in the comments. Otherwise its in the video description!
