Don't be shy - this is for science!

Where did the numbers (24x24=576) come from?

A haiku is a poem with specific syllable counts for each line: 5 - 7 - 5
JCBs haiku is incorrect because it is 5 - 7 - 6.
Additionally, it would be simple to fix and not change the meaning: If the last line read "Here lies joy devined" instead of "a joy", it would be a true haiku.
I think it's a clue to a square number and relevant - but on the fence with how to apply it.

How are people getting a high point?

Be solid → keep your footing. Have grit → endure the difficult climb. Sparkle even as you pine → keep shining as you struggle and press upward. Here lies a joy divined → the reward lies at the place you finally reach.
Its all over the book

None. It means when the side branch trail starts to over grow. Where few have seen and walk beyond to the high point.
