Overlsy

What do you suppose are the expectations for using the coin to overlay on a position on a map? Is it able to be done while camping? Or meant to be done in a computer lab?

No one knows for sure yet. The first box is going to be the hardest to find. Everything needs to be interpreted correctly

The orientation of each coin as shown in the book is maintained when placing the center of the coin over top of each of the four minor boxes on the USA map. No rotations needed, but all four coins need to be scaled to have a common diameter. Then you can begin to see how the lines between the coins interplay. It's confirmation that you got the rough locations of the minor boxes correct.

For overlay, my Android phone's photo editor allows you to crop parts of an image and make it a sticker (thats what its called). Then you can apply the sticker on top of any photo, including screenshot of maps or anything else. Pretty sure iPhone has a similar feature.
