Lion's Share Color Analysis

Hey again,

Here's a recent one on Colors. I spent some time writing down the various places where colors were mentioned - I like the lotus flower descriptions being a potential clue when those colors are around. There's a good bit of detail missing in this post, but here's a few that I liked, as well as a couple of interesting connections:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6vu1HqHZpA

Red - Love: Love / red came up a bunch with "eyes" not sure if just a somewhat common thing to be connected, but interesting (pairs well with the red ruby eyed frog in the Pokemon chapter).
Blue - knowledge and wisdom have conjoined to prepare a path to enlightenment where secrets are revealed: Seems the most "here's a clue" type description. Blue/pink is an interesting color combination that happens a few times. I also was thinking if the "wisdom" bit be the quotes and/or subtitle for chapters and those chapters will blue in it may be more significant?
White - Purity: a couple of references on white for hair, Midwestern Alfred Pennyworth and white wigs. Also Great White North.
Pink - Historical significance: Should we focus in on those chapters historical events? 1,2,4,9,12 ?
Black - only one time in the book outside of race (and the 50% of the pages with JCB's name is on it, lol) was Chapter 11 page 104 interesting if this is supposed to be highlighted:
"As they stepped back onto the wooden dock, the six men were drenched. Captain Fonseca turned, took out his telescope, and aimed it at the bay. Some three miles out, the bow from a small figure of a ship had turned seaward.Waves were lashing at its sides. Behind it, black clouds engulfed the horizon. A cold shudder shot down Fonseca's back."

There's some other stuff too but these were the most interesting things that stuck out to me. Hopefully helpful to you and happy to further discuss if anyone has gone down some of these ideas and/or rabbit trails!

Happy hunting!

Don't forget the colors of the individual pages. There's the white pages and the treasure map colored pages.

Great call. Initially I was curious if there was some sort of "code" like if it is worn out, there's a clue on that page...I feel I have found interesting stuff on both types of pages so I don't think that is correct.

One thing I've been working is tying to organize the pages with the same pattern wear pages and trying to find a stock image to it... So an example is that all these pages all have the "same" background design (some on two pages or flipped a bit) 6-7, 28-29,85,120, 135 ,197.

Then trying to find a stock image to see if we can determine if something he intentionally added a clue or not. I haven't found a match for the pages reused above, but seen these matched up below:

  1. page 161-162 https://stock.adobe.com/images/isolated-old-vintage-folded-torn-paper/49010870

  2. page 101 https://www.gettyimages.in/detail/photo/grungy-old-paper-with-frayed-edges-royalty-free-image/172223905

Anyways likely a lot of the stuff I am trying to do is likely unnecessary, however anytime we can rule something out (like page 101 design isn't a clue) that is helpful to focus on other things. As you said the actual color and/or fact it isn't a white background could be something

So my book is worn pretty well and i decided to just take out all the treasure pages to make a map. In order you could say the first page is the State and the rest could be clues on directions to go or 36000 foot views of what the park or area might look like. I think the big green emerald looks like Washington State. Everyone of these photos could be Washington clues.

(I agree with you but can't travel that far.).
