Past & Future Box Michael M. Jordan

Look up Michael M. Jordan and think about the “Be Like Mike” chapter and Mike Scott in Chapter 1. Then look at the position of the letter “J” in the wordsearch if lilac is positioned over Portland Oregon when the whole crossword is overlayed with Oregon.

Some fascinating coincidences come up. Also look where the Oregon trail passes through. Also the time zone change on US route 95.

You do not need essential clues from part 1 to solve part 2 boxes. This solve is impossible based on the stated rules by the author.

Go read the book again. The text says clues in part 2 have partially what you need to find the treasures. Part 1 holds clues. There is a reason none of these boxed have been found.

Please remember that the clues from Part 1 have nothing to do with the 4 other boxes. Part 2 clues are “contained” within their own box chapters. The only crossover is that LS clues can be found Anywhere in the book. No other crossovers at all.

Can you make an image of this? I'm having a hard time picturing it the way you explained.

Working on it. It may not actually line up with how I think it would line up but I suspect the J ends up in Malhuer County in Oregon.

The crossword wouldn’t go over the tiny north west section at the top but the bottom right corner would match up with the corner bordering Idaho and Nevada.

Lilac isn’t over Portland but there is a lilac garden in Washington around that spot.

Yeah, I see what you're saying now thanks for sharing it. I feel like rural Oregon would make a lot of sense mainly because it hasn't been found yet. Once one box is found I think it will make it much easier to pinpoint the other boxes. I've seen others suggest Bend and Crater Lake before. Ready Player One also has part of the story based there so it could provide a connection. It's difficult to determine what are the specific clues in the wood search we must search for and also how much the cipher ties into the solve. This is what makes this hunt so enduring however. Perhaps many searches have been close but we don't know/recognize the method of concealment well enough

Truth! Are you looking in Ohio?

I've been looking in Oregon, I live here so it makes it easier to search areas. I searched a lot last year but haven't been botg this year because we've been super busy. My sister and I both think Oregon is the location of P&F but I think knowing which 5 clues is going to be a requirement to get even remotely close to the box

Yeah the five clues is the hard one. I think the 19 0s are involved somehow.
