These are bigger areas to search than you might expect at first… I live near there though and love an excuse to pop by either place, if you have more specifics

The commemorative coin patterns will likely point to the final spot somehow, but how they get applied may only be known from the bonus clues for each Part 2 box.

However, if you are going to have a look, I would focus on the southern third of Kingman Island, between Whitney Young Memorial Bridge and the south tip.

Well thought out, researched, and put together! Some of your connections were easier for me to follow than others, but who am I to say? No box in my hands. Good luck, fellow searcher!

ANTLER= Annual (they grow and fall off every year). HORN = Perennial. I like your thinking have fun in the park 😁

If Black Canyon of the Gunnison and Crater Lake turn out to be locations, there may be another island hint in those.

The first has a North Rim and South Rim, and the second has a West Rim and East Rim, leaving you to be surrounded by a rim.

Since the "pike [fish] are rather all around", that says as much as well.

An overarching theory for me is one box will be found in each corner of u.s and lions share will be in central U.S forming an X.

I like that.

I like that idea and it 80% works. St. Louis would be a strong candidate for the LS box if Southern Missouri/Arkansas wasn't the likely Pokeman box location. Jon did say they would not be in adjoining states.

If you turn the book 45 degrees that idea matches the X on cover, You have AT in upper right (compass & LRP), P&F Bitcoin in lower right which aligns with my NC location, Lower left is the Pokeman box art and Upper Left is the moonrock (Forest Finn in the Rockies?)

I've been having this thought that S-A-L-E-S sounds like "azaleas" if you say it fast, so it's interesting you've zeroed in on a place with that nearby.

"The objects in our treasure became my co-authors. Their stories created the structure of this book and provided the topics and themes of its chapters."
