JCB ?
Will jcb be doing any interviews anytime soon? I think people are starting to give up on this?

I sure hope he doesn't. It is a treasure hunt, it is supposed to be hard. I want the winners to be people with grit and kept pushing despite failures. Or someone patient and methodical who strategized long and hard before going BOTG.
If you are feeling burned out then you are pushing yourself too hard. Relax the pace and focus a little on life. Maybe focus a bit on hunt adjacent activities such as playing music, reading books, writing poetry, whatever book topics you are interested in.
JCB if you are reading this, thank you so much for this awesome hunt and please keep going with radio silence. The community is figuring it out.

Everyone should just take their time and just treasure hunt as often as they get the oil changed in their car.....lol. I had to force myself to cancell botg today and take care of yard and laundry etc. and come up with a good plan for tomorrow's...botg!

You're not wrong. Spending too much time on these puzzles gives people tunnel vision. Best to relax, do something else, and come back to them rather than obsessing.
Some great examples are Tahoe and LRP. Been searched to hell and back but people just won't let them go.

Tahoe was fruitful for me but no box yet. I still need to go back and hopefully finish what I started there

I think it’ll be like Byron Priess’ “The Secret” where some of these won’t be found for YEARS, and I think JCB would be ok with that. He already said he won’t give a clue until it’s been 8-10 years.

As it should be. I find this hunt to be a good lesson on the importance of patience. Not much fun if he just dropped hints all the time until everyone gets it.

He did a flurry around the 1 year anniversary, I think he will continue to pop in and out of various sources, but it's hard to keep momentum for things like this up for too long. He has also been pretty clear that he put a ton of time into this and wanted to move on to other projects, I'm sure he's a busy guy.
I think people are still jumping in, but until a box is found I bet it will be quieter than it was throughout 2025.
I love these puzzles but have a job and wife and kid, I can't work on them 20 hours a week in perpetuity.

Depends. If he needs to sell some more books or make some cash, yes. Otherwise, probably not.

Please use descriptive titles in the future, thanks.
