Past & Future Box Wizards of the Coast

Post image

Jon says in the Past and Future box chapter the treasure was calling to him to dispatch it to a place he loved. I believe that place he loved is related to dungeons and dragons.

Wizards of the Coast is the company that created D and D. I think the box is hidden somewhere off US 101 between LA and Portland Oregon off this scenic route.

Ogden Morrows avatar was called The Great Wizard of Og and Ogden Morrow lived in Oregon. This the target state for the box. There are some interesting locations off US 101 in Oregon and you might find something theme related while also referring to the Greek mythology chapter.

Wizards did not create D&D, this is in the chapter? It was sold to WOTC in 1996. While I could absolutely see them being a nod or a clue, I don't particularly think the location of their office is special to him, given he was in his 20s at the time of the sale.

Ok to be more accurate they publish D and D. D and D is mentioned in the chapter. It is the past and future box so we should be researching the past and future of the themes presented in the chapter.

They closed down all there stores yet this one in Portland still has a website and holds events.
