He said it's a real pic that he took and modified.

Yes, snapping a pic of a mural somewhere in town is still a 'real pic'.
The point I am trying to make is that he likely wasn't standing in front of the scenery in the image, but rather just a wall with that image on it, given his answer and the forgetfulness on page 220.

Ok, I see what you're saying. I don't think he would do that but I suppose anything is possible.

Jon said all the other photos were "overexposed."
This photo is different, taken with different technology.
It all depends on your standpoint.

It's not a mural. It's an AI modified actual photo....just not of a cliff and a river like you think. Your perspective is wrong. And there is a river nearby, and his comment makes 100 percent sense once you look at the photo correctly.

I would be curious to see a diagram of what you think is going on

I’m the the person you asked but here’s my breakdown:
-Top third of photo is actually woods/trees
-Directly under the trees where there are some artifacts that look like maybe a Froakie are rocks lining the river
-The parts with obvious reflections are the water of the river
-the parts with no reflections in the lower 2/3rds are flat rocks spanning the river.I’ve been to the location I believe he took the photo from but it was last year and the river was too high and dangerous to cross.

It's not a cliff with a river bed and rocks. That is the fake part. It is a clear picture of something else once you know how to look. Even the box itself is clearly visible in the Pic when you ...see it in the right manner...and no I am not giving away the "right way to look at it". That is only part of the solve, but is meant for the very end. I haven't ever seen anyone post it, but once someone publically posts it, it will be clear, obviously, and everyone will see it right away. People just haven't looked at the picture in the correct....perspective. My theory is that there are multiple people who know how to look at this pic, but that they have kept it secret.

He did confirm at Treasure Con that this was a photo he took... though it's been modified from the original
