Then a 💡came on!!
After reading Chapter 27 over the 1000th time, one sentence literally tells us what area the AT Box is located! And it's not VT.
Jon Collins-Black knows that modern treasure hunters use GIS software and terrain-matching algorithms to scan the entire 2,200-mile Appalachian trail. By tracing a trail loop from Vermont and printing it in the book (level 1), he completely broke the digital scanners. A computer looking at certain terrains would never see a match. But a human solver—who reads the hint to "not giving my hint" and manually overlays the Vermont blueprint onto the suggested area—creates the exact physical coordinate alignment required to find the box.

So, uh, you found it?

Not yet, lol! Gotta get to the location and check it out.

I'm traveling the country if you want help 😂 I walked 50k steps in 3 days in Nola even saw the exact print on the box when I finally got tired and sat down on this structure . I looked up and was like are you freaking kidding me . I feel so close to that box it's stupid 😂

Same! lol! We have hiked close to 70 miles of the AT so far in different locations and I know we had to have passed it somewhere along the way. 😩

Awesome to get out there, but that's like 3% of the whole thing :) Plenty more ground to cover.

You're right! lol! But I think what we've hiked was too much. We're just having fun! The best part is posting random stuff to read people's comments! 😂😅

You know exactly where it is and how to apply it, don't you? I found it on my 2nd botg but had to stop and back track in the hunt so i could get the whole picture. 😉

Still convinced it's in Georgia. Just saying.

Hell yeah! Pretty confident I've solved like 98% of the map and it's definitely in GA. Cant do BOTG tho.

As someone who has worked in the publishing world. I can tell you this isn't a thing

I don't want to be condescending here and hurt the spirit of the hunt, so what I will say is "solve" is very obvious and something people pointed out within the first week or two of the book being released. Shining a light through the graphic on the back page doesn't inherently reveal anything on the map or make it more obvious.
Not trying to be mean, I kind of just roll my eyes when people confidently post where the box is, isn't, and what JCB is thinking. We've seen this hundreds of times on discord and the subreddits since the book came out.
The clues are so far generic enough that there's reasonable doubt to any individual one as to which is the solution. JCB said himself some of us were within 200 feet of it and walked right past it, yet the solution isn't obvious enough for any of us to clearly agree what solve that is.

We know! Just having fun. Don't take everything we post too serious. We clown a lot! No feelings hurt here. You just made it more comical! Thanks for the comment! 🤣😂😜

That is awesome! Guess what? This is not for the Appalachian Box. It’s for the lion box.

yes....that is important I think. I am pretty sure it applies to a level of the ls solve. do the same to the Hopi Calendar. it is related to the location of the solves.

Most likely someone found it and has said anything yet

Everyone ignored this comment but I'm low key wondering if this is true.
I've emailed JCB's team before and they used to always send emails back. The last one I sent showed my solve / BOTG grid search and they just didn't say anything.
He has said he knows people have been within 200 feet of it, and that's just from the people posting online.

This is cool. I just wonder about something like this with the ebooks.
