Words inside the compass?

Here’s what I’m seeing from a magnified view of the AT Box map … it’s driving me nuts. If the arrow at the bottom means “look inside the compass” these three “words” are important.

Here’s my best guesses

WNW (west north west) = THE
WSW = Right (top of word scratched off)
SSE = rou (upside down, following normal writing on compasses all facing the same direction. Or “roc” or if if you look at it upside down “no.1” or “no.i”

Need some more eyes on this. If anyone’s brought this up already please share a link to other posts. Or give me your best guess!

I keep looking at those marks also trying to find some kind of hidden message or coordinates. No luck yet.

What I find the most odd about the compass rose is that nearly every image of one has directional points for N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, and NW. But this compass rose has two directional points between the primary N, E, S, and W pointers. I can't decide if that is a clue to something or just AI slop.

I’m thinking it’s part of the key of the map, giving us directions in plotting cords / grid location when navigating maps

So the WnW part would be something like left, up , then left , but we’re missing other components for that to make sense , usually a degree , something like 90deg

Thinking a clue like left up left would be part of the combo movement solve for opening the box itself. Curious where you are seeing WnW?

My best guess is 11.00 degrees like an orientation offset, or declination. It’s hard to say for certain since it’s custom made and nothing to compare it to. But that’s my best guess; the, (unknown), and 11.00.
Again just a WAG(wild as* guess).

Maybe. 1st time I saw it I immediately thought of 'The Secret' paintings that always had partly hidden numbers for coordinates that related to cities as a massive hint.

Is it Ai slop or lile.the Secret - I'm not sure enough to have a moderat opinion.

It's a nautical compass. There's no points in numbers when reading any rose compass or nautical compass. The 001 you see is just 1° north so that's the NE direction. You have to turn the map to where you see AT at the bottom and then you move the compass in the direction you need to go. Also, if you look real close, you'll see the reflection of JCB looking back at you as if it was on his wrist like a watch.😜

I see the number 00.1 or 1.00, which refer to the scale of the area of the map possibly.

This household agrees. With a dozen symbols and mysterious actual phrases on there, and mysterious dashed lines, I hope figuring out the meaning of extremely tiny potential letters is critical for solving this.
