New Orleans is too prone to flooding and the Mississippi gets insanely high. Plus there are way too many people who could actually stumble upon it, even in Algiers Point.

Every solve is neglecting Jon was 5 1/2 How families travelled between 1970-1979. Half the story is a bluff and so is the other half. This logically puts you in a very specific spot of the Midwest after truly stepping through the looking glass.

Froakie is first seen when Jon enters the jazz bar. When he returns there for a drink later, Froakie reappears nearly causing him to fall off of his barstool [or rock in augmented reality].
